We'll cruise north along the west coast of South America, with its UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, breathtaking national parks and remote communities. The Chilean Fjords were carved out by retreating glaciers from the past millennia. The fjords have resulted in a series of waterways that must be navigated in order to get to coastal destinations in Patagonia, such as Punta Arenas and Ushuaia. Today, the Chilean Fjords are known for their beauty and local wildlife, including whales, dolphins, and penguins.

Puerto Edén’s isolation is also due to the region’s climate, which includes frequent rainfall, high humidity, and heavy storms.
